Dr. Heather Wilkins graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. Prior to this she completed a BSc. in Biomedical Sciences with First Class Honours.
After university Heather moved to Bury St. Edmunds and completed her foundation year placements at West Suffolk Hospital and Addenbrookes Hospital, before later working as a G.P. registrar.
In 2015 she left the N.H.S. to work in the private medical sector and achieve a better work-life balance, and in 2017 she opened her aesthetics business specialising in natural looking treatments.
Keen to develop her skills she has completed multiple aesthetics courses including advanced botox & fillers, lip enhancement, chemical peels, skinboosters, polynucleotides, fat dissolving, and most recently fibroblast/plasma pen training. She also offers premium skincare, medical grade patches and supplements to enhance results and provide a ‘no needle’ alternative.
She now has her own award winning aesthetics clinic in Downham Market. Focused on providing a holistic approach to your treatment journey, and involved with Feel Good Norfolk, her passion for wellness and aesthetics, she has designed her clinic keeping in mind the experience she would wish to have as a client. This includes a discrete service, no posting of client photos online, cooling off period before treatment and allowing plenty of time for appointments.
“Since COVID there has been a dramatic increase in preventative medicine, rather than treating the resulting illness, as well as recognising the importance of self care. Self care is no longer a luxury, it is an essential.
Beauty is more than skin deep, its how we feel in ourselves. In a busy fast paced world, taking time for self care is increasingly important. A subtle tweak is often all that is needed to help enhance what you already have. Topical skincare can only do so much and sometimes a carefully chosen aesthetics treatment can save you a lot of time and money in the long run. A combination of injectables, topicals, skincare and supplements may be needed, everyone is different and together we can make a treatment plan for you”.
She has recently partnered with Prepaere as a campaign ambassador to provide vital screening and support for mental health in aesthetics, and is also recognised by the LGBTQ+ directory as a safe space.

We have done as much as possible to ensure a safe, consistent, reliable service. We are insured with Cosmetic Insure. We are a Save Face accredited Platinum clinic. We are registered with ACE- Aesthetics Complications Expert group. We are registered with ICO and the Cosmetic Redress Scheme. We have a temperature controlled medical fridge to store products in. We only purchase products from reputable suppliers- such as MedFx and Acre Pharmacy.
We cannot guarantee treatment with ourselves due to a range of factors including where we do not feel best suited to your needs. We want you to achieve the best results, and sometimes that may mean signposting to another aesthetician. There are also several health conditions which may affect potential treatment and increase the risk of complications. By offering a free no obligation consultation and cooling off period before any treatment we feel this helps to provide safe and effective treatment tailored to your needs.
Absolutely no problem. We pride ourselves in providing a discrete service to our clients. All appointments are single person, no students or trainees, no photographs are shared online (images are kept for use in our in- clinic photography portfolio and to monitor results) We don’t have a waiting room. Please arrive at your appointment time and we’ll collect you from your car on the drive.
We are seeing an increasing number of ‘new to aesthetics’ clients so please don’t worry. After an enquiry we’ll email over some initial information and guide prices. If you’d like to discuss treatment further then we can book in a consultation. You don’t have to make a decision at the consultation (in fact we actively discourage this!) and after your appointment we’ll send over a summary of the options, prices, relevant links and leaflets. Once you have had time to read all of this, speak to friends & family and email us any other questions if you’d like to book in treatment we can arrange this with you. We are happy to show you the products we use in clinic and offer walkthroughs of what to expect. You can smell the skin cleansers and see how you feel on the couch. Consent forms are signed on the day of treatment and consent is re-checked before treatment on the couch.
Dr Wilkins offers free, no obligation face to face consultations to discuss your aesthetic needs. We will discuss your medical history, medication, allergies and what you are looking to achieve. If appropriate we can then discuss treatment options, including side effects, risks and benefits. My full photographic portfolio, insurance details, certificates and policies are available to view in clinic.
Safety is our priority at all times. By keeping appointments 1:1 our focus remains solely on you. We want you to be safe & comfortable whilst in our clinic, and sometimes friends and family aren't aware of all medical issues. Non disclosure of medical conditions, allergies, past experiences or specific anxieties, could impact treatment options and results. Children and dependents are not permitted in clinic (unless in exceptional circumstances with prior agreement). This is for health and safety reasons. If a companion is required for medical needs such as anxiety, hearing or visual impairment we can accommodate this with notice.
We do not offer same day consultation & treatment in keeping with GMC Good Medical Practice guidelines. Treatment can only booked after a cooling-off period ensuring that you have plenty of time to consider all information, even if you have had the same treatment elsewhere. We will email over a consultation summary afterwards including pricing and relevant leaflets and links to help you make an informed decision. Some treatments may require a private prescription, or additional preparation such as cold sore prophylaxis. There are also other factors to consider when booking a treatment- including travel, illness, events and any ‘downtime’ needed.
